Hi All, I hope that you have had an enjoyable first-week blogging. I realise that it is a new approach for most of you and that's why this week it has been very casual. A couple of pointers: try reading your blog out loud  after writing - it will improve the quality re-read how to deal with image captions, title names, and tags make sure you have completed all parts of the declaration before taking the quiz As always ask me if you're unsure! As I commented in one blog my goal is for you this semester, to try things out seeing if you can push your own boundaries while at the same time providing each of you as much feedback as I possibly can. That's the first week nearly over well done! A few things to consider over the next few days: This blog is only for Multimedia Development - if you can post only as part of the task that would be great!  Very important to only complete the declaration(QUIZ) after completing the task- read the declaration very carefully before completing the Quiz. Remember the Honour Code. Have a look at how I've been adding the captions for the images Get caught up this week and try and make a start on next weeks work now, try to take advantage of the material being available to you now! I am always available - feel free to come to any of the Lab Slots and Lecture time for support on the Module. the module is set up to allow me to give each of you more one-to-one time, make sure to take advantage of it. I see everyone is getting stuck in, its great to see. Delighted that as you work through your tasks your sending me emails to ask relevant questions- if more than two of you ask a question I will post a general response here so everyone can benefit from it. Honesty Image   One point I would like to make is that some of you have completed the declarations but haven't completed the tasks, that's fine this week as we work out what we need to do but starting next week this will be dealt with through our Honesty Policy if your unsure ask me!

So as we officially begin Orientation week I would encourage you to allocate some time to completing Tuesdays and Wednesdays tasks. I have added some instructions below to help you get started - remember you will get into the mood by starting -slowly read the instructions, ask questions if unsure and get stuck in. You will see Week 1 at the top, these are the tasks for week 1. So let's look at the first one, Click on Design your own course, the first two sections provides important information regarding the operation of the course and the grading. Part three then asks to click on the link Designing Your Schedule . Just fill in the form showing how you plan to allocate your time to this course over the week. (image: orientation week )  So that week has finally arrived! Orientation Week, I 'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next few weeks. I've been working on this for a few weeks and I'm looking forward to getting started.
